Within the Federation
The North Louisiana Jewish Federation provides assistance to local individuals and families in need, on
a case by case basis. To apply for assistance, please email or mail a letter of request to the Executive Director. Requests will be
reviewed by the Executive Board of the Federation with the utmost discretion.
The Federation also provides scholarships for Camp
Chai and regional Jewish Summer Camps, with the following guidelines:
On a need basis
To students from pre-school through high
school who reside int he area serviced by the Federation
Whose parents or guardians are contributing members of the Federation
With
award amounts to be decided by the Executive Board of the Federation
Additionally, the Federation provides an Israel Mission
Subsidy to those travelling to Israel on a UJC-sponsored Mission, with the following guidelines:

Outside the Federation
The Goldring Family Foundation
provides a $1,000 non-needs based scholarship to all first-time Jewish campers in our region. To obtain an application form, call

Taglit-Birthright Israel privdes the gift of first time,
peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26 in order to strengthen participants' personal Jewish
