In 1984, the North Louisiana Jewish Federation set the wheels in motion to establish an Endowment Fund to support and enhance the
activities of the local Jewish community as well as the Shreveport/Bossier metropolitan area in general.
The Fund is governed
by an Endowment Fund Committee of seven members, including the President, Treasurer, and Immediate Past President of the Board
of Directors of the Federation. Those eligible to serve on the committee must have been active donors to the Fund for the past five
years.
