Giving: 

Allocations:
The North Louisiana Jewish Federation provides allocations to organizations in Israel, the Jewish congregations in our area, and other Jewish organizations throughout the state, region, country, and world.

Assistance:
The North Louisiana Jewish Federation provides assistance to local individuals and families in need, on a case by case basis. To apply for assistance, please email or mail a letter of request to the Federation. Requests will be reviewed by the Executive Board of the Federation with the utmost discretion. 

Camp Scholarships:
The Federation also provides scholarships for Camp Chai and regional Jewish Summer Camps, with the following guidelines:
   - On a need basis
   - To students from pre-school through high school who reside in the area serviced by the Federation
   - Whose parents or guardians are contributing members of the Federation
   - With award amounts to be decided by the Executive Board of the Federation

Israel Trips:
The Federation also subsidizes trips to Israel, with the following guidelines:

   - To contributing members of the Federation
   - With award amounts to be decided by the Executive Board of the Federation

Events: 

Camp Chai: 

For two weeks every summer, the Federation sponsors a Jewish day camp for children between the ages of 3 and 10. Older youth serve as counselors.
Hanukah Party: 

The Federation sponsors an annual community-wide Hanukah party at which latkes are served. Attendees are encouraged to play the dreidel game and to display their menorahs. 
Purim Carnival: 

The Federation sponsors a community-wide Purim Carnival every year. All are encouraged to attend in costume. Lunch and hamentaschen are provided.
Holocaust Remembrance: 

Since 1984, the Federation has sponsored an annual interfaith service in remembrance of the Holocaust, featuring an address by a keynote speaker or a musical presentation. The Federation also sponsors an annual Holocaust Literary Contest for Middle and High School students. Visit the website for more details.
Jewish Film Series: 

In conjunction with the Robinson Film Center, the Federation sponsors a film festival in order to bring to the region films of Jewish interest that might not normally be shown here.
World Religion Day: 

The Federation partners with B'nai Zion and Agudath Achim to staff the "Judaism" booth at the annual World Religion Day. Visit the website for more details.
Annual Meeting: 

As a non-profit organization, the Federation holds an annual meeting. Outgoing Board members are thanked for their service, and new Board members are installed.
