Taking it’s name from the French word for “crossroads”, Carrefour Collaborative Music Project is an arts organization based in Shreveport, Louisiana.
From the Italian Renaissance to the French Baroque to the 20th Century, this music explores how one group of people sought to maintain its identity across the centuries through celebrations of life, walking the tightrope between assimilation and preservation. Featuring music by Sergei Prokofiev, Eric Whitacre, Shulamit Ran, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and more!
